ADSL splitter usually is designed that one RJ11 port at input side and one of RJ11 and RJ45 port at output side . there will be a telephone cable connected at input ,which is extended from telecommunication provider and at output telephone cable will be connected at RJ11 for telephone set at your home or in the your office and one lan patch cord will be connected at RJ45 port for ADSL modem. ASDL splitter will separate voice and date from input to output for telephone set and modem. The purpose is to avoid high frequency noise caused by ADSL services from being heard on the phones |
