Patch panel are most commonly found in Ethernet networks and other different application.Cat.5e patch panel and Cat.6 patch panel provide superior performance.Usually they are installed in 19” network cabinet but some with rack- mounted directly can be mounted on the wall.There are 8 ports to 48 ports of with Cat.5e keystone jack (Cat5e module) or Cat6 keystone jack ( Cat6 module)designed on the front side of patch panel to provide signal to different devices with Lan cable .Either jacks or punch down blocks on the back of the patch panel are used for receiving connection from data switching center. |
